Many owners feel stuck choosing between costly board-and-train programs or group classes that don’t provide the individual attention their dog truly needs.
At Homegrown Canine Training LLC, we take a different approach. Through at-home training, we coach both dog and handler in their real-world environments, allowing us to quickly and effectively solve the issues that matter most to you.
Starting with The Homegrown Assessment
The Homegrown Assessment is a 2-hour, in-home session designed to review all training concerns and evaluate your dog’s behavior and personality. Our goal is to begin solving problems during the very first visit. We believe in results, not unnecessary commitments, which is why we don’t push long-term programs if all a family truly needs is clarity and a clear direction forward.
Cost: $125
Single or Two Sessions, if you need just a bit more help!
After the Homegrown Assessment, you may find there are specific challenges that require a bit more time or a deeper level of focus. For these targeted needs, we offer both single follow-up sessions and discounted two-session packages, allowing us to work directly on the areas that matter most to you.

The Homegrown Course
For our owners who want to really train their dog with structured coaching, we offer the Homegrown Course. This 7-week general obedience program is a crash course for a wide range of obedience skills. Throughout this course, we cover all of the basic obedience commands, how to develop reliable skills, and introduce off-leash training. All this in the comfort of your own home!
We Address:
Jumping and overexcitement
Leash walking and general manners
Minor reactivity and impulse control
Foundational commands: heel, sit, down, implied stay, recall, place, and leave it
Cost: $1500, which includes up to $400 in training gear
Puppy Foundation Lesson
The Puppy Foundation Lesson is a 3-hour at-home lesson and your one-stop shop for cramming all the puppy wisdom you need into one action-packed day! We get it—life's a whirlwind, and not everyone wants to stretch out training over weeks. So, we're here to give you the ultimate crash course in puppy parenting, all in one go! You’ll also receive 60+ pages of information to aid you moving forward.
