Board and Train Programs
8-Day Program
Learning The Basics
8-Day Board & Train: an intensive week to teach clear, useful behaviors so daily life with your dog is easier. Your dog learns expectations, builds good habits, and begins to understand what you want.
Training focuses on the most impactful foundation behaviors, including:
• Loose-leash walking and improved leash manners
• Reducing common nuisance behaviors such as jumping and over-excitement
• Teaching core obedience skills: sit, down, recall, and heel
We board one dog at a time, so training is individualized and woven into daily routines rather than short sessions. This builds real-world behavior and reinforces consistency, engagement, and follow-through. Best for dogs needing structure and a clear start—one week won’t “fix” everything, but it creates habits, communication, and direction for continued progress.
-
Day 1: Decompression & Acclimation
The first day is focused on helping your dog settle in, reducing stress, and observing behavior. Formal training demands are kept light to allow your dog to become comfortable and ready to learn.Days 2–8: Structured Training & Skill Development
Training is integrated throughout daily routines and focuses on:Loose-leash walking and leash manners
Reducing nuisance behaviors such as jumping and over-excitement
Teaching core obedience skills: sit, down, basic stay, recall, and heel
This progression allows learning to build naturally, leading to clearer communication and more reliable behavior by the end of the program.

To support a smooth transition home, the program includes one complimentary private, at-home training session after your dog returns home. This session focuses on transferring handling skills, reinforcing structure, and helping you apply the same expectations in your own environment.
In addition, you’ll receive one month of trainer support following at-home session. Training does not end when your dog goes home, and questions are expected. During this period, you may reach out via call, text, or video for guidance, clarification, and feedback as you begin working with your dog at home.

2-Week Program
Developing Reliability
During the first phase of this program, we focus on teaching and clearly introducing foundational obedience and expectations through structured daily training and consistent handling. Your dog learns how commands are taught, what is being asked, and how to work within a calm, predictable routine that supports learning.
The second phase shifts the focus to reliability and follow-through. Rather than adding new behaviors, we reinforce what your dog already knows by increasing duration, clarity, and accountability. Commands are practiced under real-world distractions and daily transitions so responses become consistent, dependable, and transferable back to the home environment.
