Our comprehensive course is designed to help you confidently take your dog off-leash with a high level of obedience. Strengthen the bond with your furry companion while mastering essential skills for effective communication. Commitment from the owner is crucial, as consistent weekly training is essential for success.

Fundamentals:

At Homegrown Canine Training LLC, we prioritize building strong fundamentals for dogs and handlers. Learn how to use the leash effectively to communicate clearly with your dog, issue commands, and provide appropriate rewards. Mastering these fundamentals will ensure long-lasting obedience, especially during off-leash training.

Obedience I:

In the first phase of this course, you and your dog will work efficiently while on a leash. Our expert trainer will guide you through commands like Heel, Recall, Sit, Down, Implied Stay, and Place.

Obedience II:

During the second phase, we transition your dog to work off-leash. Your dog will need to be proficient in all basic obedience commands by this point, making the off-leash component smoother. We prioritize teaching the dog first before introducing any training tools for corrections, ensuring a positive and stress-free learning experience.

Understanding Canine Body Language:

Throughout the program, we'll teach you to recognize your dog's body language, enabling you to understand their emotions and needs in real time. This knowledge is valuable for introducing your dog to new people, environments, or other dogs, as it helps identify signs of stress, nervousness, fear, or aggression.

Effective Training Tools:

We utilize various training tools such as slip leads, martingale collars, prong collars, and e-collars to provide clear communication and timely corrections. Our course includes an in-depth educational period on these tools, empowering you to use them safely and effectively based on different training methods.

Training Multiple Dogs:

If you have multiple dogs at home, our program trains all dogs at the same cost. We recommend involving friends or family to attend lessons to ensure there are enough handlers for all the dogs.

Course Duration and Pricing:

The Off-Leash Dog Training Program runs for eight weeks, with one lesson each week. We offer two options for the course:

• $1,200 for in-home training at your location.

• $800 for training at our facility.
